My responsibility is to oversee the work of the whole Parish.
I value working together with others and seeing their God given gifts released into effective areas
of service and ministry. In 1999 I was made a founder member of the College of Evangelists by the
Archbishops of Canterbury and York.
I am keen music lover and enjoy family life with my wife Allison,
five children and two mad Springer spaniels!

The Rev'd Gary Townsend Parish Curate
As a member of the clergy team I do all the usual vicar-type stuff.
I love working with children, have a real love for Scripture & a burden to see the Faith as we have it in our
Reformed & Protestant tradition maintained & taught well. My wife, Sharon, & I run the parish youth group, REFRESH.
I play the guitar & have a lurcher called Libby who is one of the fastest dogs I’ve ever seen! |

The Rev'd Peter Goodridge Parish Curate
Before becoming a full-time minister of the gospel, I worked in London for 20 years in IT.
However, letting people know the love of Jesus Christ is my main passion, hence the change of career.
I enjoy cycling (in fair weather), listening to weird Progressive Rock music, watching Red Dwarf and
being with my wife, Lisa, and our two sons.

Jane Higgs PA To Rev'd Mark Brown
As a member of the lay staff team, it is a privilege to serve and to contribute to the life of our Parish family,
a part of which I have been since childhood. Over the years my faith has been challenged, and, therefore, strengthened,
in a number of ways.
In my "spare" time, I help to lead SOS (our 11-14s group), and to organise the annual children's Bright Lights party.
I also enjoy spending time with my family and supporting our son in his activities.

I really enjoy working with all the lovely people in the Parish. Having graduated with a degree in
English Literature and Biblical Studies, I enjoy finding creative ways of exploring and sharing the Christian Faith.
I have been involved in producing the Perspectives magazine, St Peter and St Paul guidebook,
the Jane Austen project and helping with acts of worship across the Parish. I enjoy country walks, cups of tea with friends, music and movies and spending time with my sisters!

Dawn Scrivener General Parish Administrator (with special responsibility for St Saviour's and St Andrew's)
My main responsibilities are to sort out Thanksgivings, Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals for the Parish, and
to compile and edit the Parish Notice sheet. I am married to Jim with two grown up children, and enjoy travelling, gardening, reading and going for country walks with my old black Labrador Jasper.
In my spare(!!!!) time I run the Church Beaver Scout Group which is the youngest Scout Section taking in boys and girls ages 6-8 years.

Keith Bourne Administrator for St Philip's Church
I enjoy facilitating the activities of the Church in reaching out to all.
Whether that is simply the creation of literature for the Quiz Nights, Mens Breakfast etc or, the overseeing
of the bookings schedule for people and groups that use the church building.
My responsibilities include, keeping all involved with the various voluntary jobs at
St Philip’s Church informed. I am blessed with three wonderful children and my hobbies are sport, travel and music.

My job as Administrator is concerned with Sunday services -
I really appreciate the interaction with other staff, parishioners and visitors.
I enjoy singing in the choir (evenings) and with the worship groups (mornings).
I am married to Eileen and we have two daughters and two grandchildren.
I worked with office systems and management prior to retirement.

It is an enormous privilege to serve the clergy and parishioners as Churchwarden.
When not busy on church activities I enjoy walking in our beautiful Kent countryside with my husband,
sewing and visiting and being visited by our two sons, their wives, our grandchildren and grand-dog.

A retired IT director, I am privileged to serve as Parish Treasurer.
I enjoy being with my family and grandchildren and keep busy with a range of community and leisure activities,
including: Tonbridge Rotary Club; Tonbridge French Circle; a school governorship and watching and supporting
Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Football Club.
