Seniors Ministry

At Tonbridge Parish Church we are seeking to grow in our support for people of all ages and stages of their lives.

We are aware that throughout our lives we will all face different joys and challenges, some of which may be age specific.

As a part of our ongoing commitment to our vision ‘Equipping youngest to oldest to live courageous lives for Christ’ we are developing our support for and encouragement of those who would call themselves senior!

We are seeking to;

· Encourage and support seniors to live full and meaningful lives for Christ, understanding the particular challenges that retirement and older age may bring.

· Encourage a culture where seniors grow spiritually, being valued as a part of the Tonbridge Parish Church family.

And we are looking to do this through;

· Discipleship

· Pastoral Care

· Cross generational engagement

· Support and signposting

· Prayer and Fellowship.

And we value our time as a church family as we worship, pray together and offer prayer support. For more information about our services.

As a part of our commitment to seniors we have also appointed a Seniors Minister whose role is to work with those @ 70 plus, alongside the pastoral care team, clergy and other members of the church family by;

· supporting and encouraging seniors to grow in their Biblical Christian faith,

· discipling seniors to live courageously for Christ.

· supporting seniors to engage in the life of our church family.

· supporting seniors to live Christ-honouring lives with the challenges that older age brings.
